I promised you...that i would be there.
i once said that you were my world..
that you meant everything to me..
that i would love you even if the world were to crumple down..i will not give up loving you..
that even if you were not beside me always, i would think of you..
every night and day..
whenever i see you, my heart would leapt up and down..
even if i just see you once a day..it would have satisfied me..
to see you give me that boyish grin ..i would have been happy for the whole day..
that i would treasure every conversation with you..
and the words you gave me..the way you impacted my life..
i thought i would love you for all my life..
to care about you always..
but who knows..
that time changes everyone..including me..
time changes the personality..
the way people talks..
and the people we love..
and now whenever i see you..
the feeling is still there but it was not that powerful as before..
have i given up on you? or was it you who have given up on me?
whenever i see the longing look in ur eyes
all the more i felt guilty and sorry..
but how was i to know that after the 4 years we had together..

i still remembered that day..
when i stood there with you..
you talked in the same way..ever so polite and caring..
i wanted to walk up to you and hug you..
it was a bittersweet moment..
you have grown faster than i thought..

but you have never changed..
you are still like the big brother looking out for me..
being there for me whenever i was sad..
